19-0?...20-0??

I say that if the Patriots win the SuperBowl, then instead of having the Pro Bowl where the best of the AFC plays the best of the NFC, they should have the Patriots go for a 20-0 season by playing the best of the entire NFL. They should create a super-team with the best of the AFC/NFC and play the Patriots in a game. I'd bet that get much higher ratings than the Pro Bowl.

Wizards vs. Knickerbockers

The lowly New York Knicks were in D.C. last night. Isiah was booed during the player intros and so was Jarred Jeffries. Both deserve it. The Wizards were able to avenge their earlier loss to the Knicks by defeating them. Antawn Jamison quietly led the team in scoring with 32 points. Oleksiy Pecherov was also impressive coming off of the bench. Let's go through the game...

Lot's of Knick fans in attendance for some reason...

Poor guy and his wife. His kids were dressed up in Knicks gear too. Sad...

Oh look another Knick fan...

Hey look its Gilbert Arenas...

Isiah...

Gilbert

Gilbert's blog has moved here. Looks like the timetable for his return has been pushed back from February to sometime mid-March. The Wiz are currently 3 games above 0.500 which is great in my opinion. I said before that if the team can stay at or above 0.500 while Agent 0 is out then that would put the team in a great position for maybe the 7th or 8th seed in the East. By the way, how bout that win last night???

"So foul and fair a day I have not seen"
Bisciotti, King of Owings Mills, has at long last released Billick, Thane of talking too much. Assuring him of his position in December, heads roll in January. Newsome and Cass along with Moriarty have been commissioned to find a new Court Jester. One that will amuse the King.

Rex Ryan: JOvial like bacchus, defensive-mind fit to lead the 300 against the evil empire.

John Harbaugh: brother of a sissy-armed QB, coach of punters and kcikers.

Brian Schottenheimer: son of SS captain, coach of sissy-armed QB and one of the ETS

Jason Garrett: princeton is in new jersey

Jim Caldwell: colts belong in baltimore.

Josh McDaniel: didnt want you anyways, ill-begotten son of CZar belichek.

Playoffs? Playoffs?? Playoffs???

Washington Redskins are in the playoffs. I'll be honest, I never thought the Redskins would be here but they are. This never gets old:

I think I'll take the Seahawks today. Qwest Field is unbelievably loud. I've been on the outside of it during a pre-season game and the noise was just amazing.

1st quarter
[4:07] FUMBLE Shaun Alexander. Might be reversed. Good return by Smoot though. Call overturned. Holmgren has won 5 of 6 challenges.
[3:45] TOUCHDOWN. Weaver 17-yd TD run. Who is this guy??? Seattle 7, Washington 0.
[2:39] Good stop by Kerney. UVA grad.

2nd quarter
[14:55] FUMBLE. Collins by Kerney. I thought that should have been an incomplete pass. Recovered by Seattle. Call overturned. Incomplete pass. I think that's the right call.
[10:40] Punt Redskins. 4 possessions, 4 punts.
[9:00] 50-yd field goal Josh Brown. Seahawks 10, Redskins 0.

3rd quarter
[4:30] Josh Brown field goal. Seahawks 13, Redskins 0.

4th quarter
[14:55] TOUCHDOWN. Collins to Randle-El. Seahawks 13, Redskins 7.
[13:57] Interception. Landry. They said he was down. I would disagree.
[12:38] TOUCHDOWN. Collins to Moss. Wow what a turn of events. Redskins 14, Seahawks 13.
[12:36] Kickoff recovered by the Redskins. Wow.
[11:40] 30-yd field goal attempt no good.
[9:42] Interception. Landry.
[6:06] TOUCHDOWN. Hasselbeck to Hackett. Going for 2. Conversion good. Seahawks 21, Redskins 14.
[5:38] INTERCEPTION. Holy crap. Where the hell was that pass to? haha. TOUCHDOWN. Take it to the house. Trufant. Seahawks 28, Redskins 14.
[2:41] No 4th down conversion. Game over.
[0:27] INTERCEPTION. Insult to injury. TOUCHDOWN return. Seahawks 35, Redskins 14.

Well it was a better season than I expected for the Redskins.

"It's such a difference between 2nd and 5 and 2nd and 10".
"This is like a form of the west-coast offense where you get the ball in the hands of your playmakers".
"He said I know exactly where you're supposed to go, and I'm not sure we're able to tell you where he told him to go".
